The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced Tuesday that rehabilitation work on damaged roads along Roxas Boulevard’s southbound lane will begin 26 February.
In a statement, the DPWH said that the nine-month restoration project will take place between Quirino and Vito Cruz.
The DPWH South Manila District Engineering Office also said in a social media post that the work is scheduled for completion 17 November.
To minimize traffic disruption, only one lane will be closed at a time, with other lanes remaining open to motorists.
The DPWH encouraged drivers to use alternative routes or other available lanes to avoid congestion during the repair period.
It also said that it aims to complete the project ahead of schedule and will reopen closed lanes immediately upon completion.
