Tagbilaran City — Bohol Light, the city’s sole power distributor, launched a new billing system on Wednesday, 19 February 2025, aimed at improving customer service and efficiency.
The new "Spot Bill" system allows customers to receive their bills instantly after their meters are read, eliminating delays in billing delivery. This move is designed to streamline the payment process and provide immediate access to billing information.
With the updated system, customers will receive detailed statements that offer transparency on their consumption, charges, and due dates. The revamped bills feature a modern design and are easier to understand.
Roel Z. Castro, President and CEO of Bohol Light, stated that the system was created to meet customers' demand for convenience and clarity, adding that the new process enables immediate payment either online or through third-party collection agents.
Bohol Light’s introduction of the Spot Bill system reflects the company's ongoing efforts to modernize and improve the customer experience.
