Authorities reported that it has arrested a 45-year-old man after being accused of raping his two stepdaughters last year in Manila.

Police Col. John Guiagui, officer-in-charge of the Manila Police District Intelligence Division, served the second warrant of arrest on the suspect, Ardie Bachona. He was already in the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Northern Police District, after being arrested on statutory rape charges filed by the family of a 10-year-old girl, also his stepdaughter. Bachona is accused of raping both the 10-year-old and her 14-year-old sister.

He is listed as the No. 7 most wanted person at MPD Police Station 1 and No. 8 most wanted at the district level. The warrant of arrest came from Branch 6 Family Court in Manila. No bail was recommended for the first case, while bail was set at P180,000 for each of the two counts of sexual assault in the second case.
