President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas rally at Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City on 18 February 2025, endorsing the administration’s 12 senatorial candidates. This was the alliance’s fourth proclamation rally and the first in the National Capital Region (NCR). Previous campaign events were held in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte; Iloilo City; and Carmen, Davao del Norte. The alliance is backed by five political parties: Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, Lakas-CMD, Nationalist People’s Coalition, Nacionalista Party, and National Unity Party.

In his speech, President Marcos emphasized the qualifications and achievements of the alliance’s candidates. He highlighted that their platform is centered on unity, progress, and good governance, without resorting to negativity or fearmongering. He assured voters that the candidates have extensive experience in government, including former senators, congressmen, governors, mayors, and cabinet members, making them well-equipped to serve effectively. Marcos also stressed the importance of women leaders and legal experts in shaping the country’s future policies.

He reiterated the administration’s commitment to protecting the country’s sovereignty, ensuring peace and order without resorting to violence, and promoting economic growth through job creation rather than reliance on controversial industries like Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO). The president underscored the need for solutions-driven leadership, focusing on diplomacy, law enforcement, and strong support for local governance. He called on the people to unite, just as they have in times of crisis, and to support Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas for a better future.
