Petro Gazz looks to keep its winning streak alive, while Creamline sets its sights on an unbeaten prelims finish in a high-stakes doubleheader at the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

In the 4 p.m. opener, the Angels, riding on a seven-game winning streak, will take on the struggling Galeries Towers Highrisers.

With a star-studded lineup featuring Brooke Van Sickle, Myla Pablo, Jonah Sabete, Remy Palma, and Joy Dacoron, the Angels are heavily favored to secure their ninth victory of the season.

Meanwhile, in the 6:30 p.m. encounter, the Cool Smashers will face the PLDT High Speed Hitters in a crucial matchup that could bring them one step closer to a perfect preliminary round.

PLDT, fresh from a commanding win over Farm Fresh last 4 February, is eager to play the spoiler’s role.

Head coach Rald Ricafort is banking on another stellar performance from Savi Davison, who erupted for 26 points in their previous match.

To pull off an upset, the Highrisers’ local standouts — including Mika Reyes, Erika Santos, Majoy Baron, and Fiola Ceballos — must step up and deliver.

“The usual way we respond to high-pressure games is key because some of our losses happened in those moments. Hopefully, we can apply that against any opponent. It’s all about trust and belief that we can do it,” Ricafort said in Filipino.

Creamline, on the other hand, remains laser-focused on maintaining its spotless record in what has become the league’s longest-running tournament. Since sweeping Akari in the 2024 Reinforced Finals, the Cool Smashers have been unstoppable.

Head coach Sherwin Meneses faces the challenge of managing his deep roster, with key contributions expected from Bernadeth Pons, Jema Galanza, Bea de Leon, Tots Carlos, Alyssa Valdez and Michele Gumabao.
