The Philippine Coast Guard District Central Visayas (PCG-DCV) on Tuesday announced its intensified Vessel Safety Enforcement Inspection (VSEI) across Cebu, Bohol, and Camotes Island as part of efforts to enhance maritime safety and security.
According to PCG-DCV, this will include all vessels and boats operating in the Central Visayas area, ensuring that they comply with safety standards to protect lives and property at sea.
The uniformed service further assured that these inspections will be conducted professionally and fairly, allowing vessel owners time to address any deficiencies before facing potential sanctions.
PCG-DCV remains committed to working with vessel operators, providing guidance and technical support to maintain safe and efficient operations.
