In a bid to expand its membership and reach underserved sectors, Pag-IBIG Fund on Thursday launched its 1 PLUS 1 Raffle Promo in Makati City.
“This raffle promo will provide future members with more avenues to receive the benefits of the Pag-IBIG Fund,” Pag-IBIG Fund vice president Jack Jacinto said in his speech during the unveiling.
The raffle promo encourages active members to recruit new members — including family, friends, and neighbors. Recruiters, dubbed “influencers,” are assigned unique codes.
New members or those reactivating their membership must use these codes when depositing savings to generate raffle tickets for both the influencer and the recruit.
Jacinto said both recruiters and recruits will have the chance to win the grand prize of P500,000.
“Sharing is caring, and that’s what the 1 PLUS 1 Raffle Promo is all about,” he added.
For his part, Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees chairperson and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar disclosed that OFWs and informal sector workers are increasingly accessing Pag-IBIG’s programs through the raffle promo.
“Through the 1 PLUS 1 Raffle Promo, we can reach more Filipino workers and provide them with avenues to save for their future and obtain affordable homes, especially under our Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program,” he said.
“This aligns with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to ensure that every Filipino, regardless of location or financial capacity, has a fair opportunity to own a home and secure a stable future,” Acuzar said in a separate statement.
To date, roughly 7,000 new and reactivating members have joined the promo, Pag-IBIG Fund said.
