Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla on Wednesday issued a warning about impostors posing as him and soliciting financial help.
This comes following reported that some individuals are impersonating the DILG chief on various social media accounts and messaging apps.
In his public notice, Remulla stressed that he is not asking for any financial help and has not authorized anyone to do so on his behalf.
“Please be advised that I am not engaged, nor have I authorized any person to engage in such solicitations,” Remulla said.
“If you have received — or should you receive — any such requests, please do not entertain them and report the incident immediately to 09688783561,” he added.
