The Eastern Police District (EPD) on Friday said it has intensified all security measures leading to the 2025 midterm elections.
As part of the preparations, the EPD has officially activated the district election monitoring and action center to ensure a safe and orderly electoral process within Metro East — the cities of Pasig, Marikina, Mandaluyong and San Juan.
The center will serve as the central command post for monitoring and consolidating election-related information and providing real-time support to personnel deployed in the field.
Likewise, the activation of station election monitoring and action centers was also held in the four city police stations.
All election monitoring and action centers of all EPD units and stations will serve as the “eyes and ears” of the PNP national task force for safe and fair elections, providing updated reports of all incidents related to elections and the security activities undertaken by the EPD.
