

The number of road accidents during the holiday season has reached eight as of Monday, 6 January, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
Of the figure, five were involved in motorcycle crashes.
Forty-three new cases were monitored by the DOH on Monday, bringing the total number of case load to 703.
This is 30.6 percent higher than the same period last year.
The DOH also noted that of the figure, majority or 603 were not using safety gears such as helmets or seatbelts during the time of the accidents.
Meanwhile, more than half or 497 were motorcycle-related accidents.
One hundred twenty-seven of the victims were under the influence of alcohol.
