3 drug peddlers nabbed in Bataan

CAMP TOLENTINO, BALANGA CITY, BATAAN — Through what the police called “intelligence-driven operation” by the Orion police led by Captain Ian Vinluan, officer in charge, and in coordination with the PDEA Regional Office 3, Col. Palmer Z. Tria, police director, reported yesterday the apprehension of three drug peddlers during a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Bilolo, Orion, Bataan.
According to Col. Tria, confiscated during the operation were 0.8 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of P5,440, along with drug paraphernalia and one marked P500 bill used as buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
This successful operation aligns with PRO3’s Peace and Order Operational Framework: Counter-actions against Drug Groups, aimed at achieving a safer Bataan as part of the Central Luzon Region, Tria said.
Meanwhile, Captain Vinluan announced that the Orion Municipal Police Station would like to inform the public about an individual using the phone number 09462839612 and introducing himself as “Major Vinluan.”
“Please be advised that this person is NOT affiliated with the Orion Municipal Police Station and is NOT a legitimate law enforcement officer. This individual is believed to be engaging in scam activities and may attempt to defraud unsuspecting individuals,” Vinluan said.
