Fighters from JC Manangquil’s Sanman Boxing closed out 2024 by posting big wins in the country’s last event for the year held Friday night in Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.
Leading the list of winners is Esneth Domingo, who stopped Reymark Taday in the third round of their flyweight encounter.
Also emerging victorious were world-rated Joey Canoy, RV Deniega, Gabriel Tapales, Ivan Trasmonte and Ian Muyso.
Canoy beat Ariston Aton in eight rounds while Deniega halted veteran Jelo Bacalso in the seventh stanza.
Tapales, meanwhile, subdued Mike Kinaadman in the fifth frame and Muyso took out Mark Clyde Felicilda in less than a round.
“Good fights to end the year for our Sanman boys. It’s been a great year, and we will make next year even better,” said Manangquil, who also promotes and represents reigning World Boxing Council minimumweight king Melvin Jerusalem and a bevy of world-rated contenders.
