Naughty, not nice

Naughty, not nice

A naughty Santa Claus is unexpected so it was surprising to see such a benevolent character in a fight.

Two men in a Santa Claus suit and a Grinch outfit were posing for pictures with tourists in the central Mexico municipality of Aguascalientes for tips. Soon, the two were throwing punches at each other over the unequal tips they were getting, New York Post reports.

The fistfight sent the man in the red suit crashing to the ground before police arrived and broke them up. Officers took both into custody.

In Fall River, Massachusetts, a man did like Santa Claus by going down a chimney on 10 December.

Robert Langlais, 33, was not going house-to-house to place presents for kids under Christmas trees though. Police came to his house to serve an arrest warrant over drug pushing allegations.

Langlais and a suspected accomplice dashed to the rooftop to hide, ABC News reports.

One of the suspects jumped from the rooftop down to a parked car and escaped, while Langlais went for the chimney to hide, the Fall River Police Department said, according to ABC News.

Langlais, however, got stuck and called for help from the officers. Firefighters and emergency crew arrived and freed him from the chimney.

But not from the police who brought Langlais to the station where he was charged with possession of drugs.
