Three weather systems are expected to bring rains to some parts of the country, the weather bureau said Saturday.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Visayas, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, the Bicol region and Dinagat Islands.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera region, Aurora, Nueva Ecija and Bulacan will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon or amihan.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over the Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi due to the trough of a low-pressure area (LPA).
The trough of the LPA will likewise bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.
The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the amihan.
Strong winds and rough seas are expected over the eastern section of Southern Luzon.
The Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and the northeastern section of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
