Granada, Ng lead Founders Cup winners

Miko Granada and Reese Allyson Ng produced low rounds to win their respective divisions in the Play Golf Founders Cup at the Canlubang Golf and Country Club in Laguna on Thursday.

Granada shot a six-under-par 66 to beat Santino Pineda by four strokes in the boys’ Class A. He finished the 54-hole contest on 209.

Pineda carded a 69 for 213 while Tristan Padilla settled for third spot on 217 following a 70.

In the girls’ Class A, Ng shot a blistering 67 to score a come-from-behind three-shot victory over Althea Gaccion who closed with a 77. Grace Pauline Quintanilla took third on 221 following a 73.

The other division winners were David Teves and Tashi Balangauan, Class B; Jared Saban and Mona Sarines, Class C; Jose Luis Espinosa and Athena Batican, Class D; and Zoji Tyro Edoc and Athena Winter Serapio, Class E.
