In view of the busiest holiday season, Philippine Airlines (PAL) will initiate additional flights to major domestic and international destinations, giving consumers greater flexibility and choice.
“In addition to planning new connections in 2025, we are expanding our flight network by adding new routes and bolstering existing routes with more frequencies as the Christmas and New Year holidays draw near. Our mission is to assist individuals in reconnecting with their loved ones, and we are dedicated to growing our offerings to satisfy client demands and making vacation travel as easy as possible,” PAL president and chief operating officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng stated.
Last 3 December, PAL launched a three-weekly service between Clark and Siargao, and on 22 December, it resumed its much-anticipated Cebu-Osaka Kansai route.
Flights to Korea for the season
PAL’s expanding hubs will now offer flights to Korea for the season. Incheon flights between Cebu and Seoul will run from 21 December to 4 March and flights between Clark and Seoul and Kalibo will run from 2 January to 4 March.
The flag carrier is expanding its popular network of direct flights from Australia and the United States by adding a weekly trip from Melbourne till 12 January, on top of a recently inaugurated service from Seattle and an increase in daily services from Brisbane.
To accommodate the increased demand for vacation travel during the 15 December–12 January period, PAL is mounting 74 additional round-trip domestic flights between Manila and Davao, Bacolod, Cagayan, Iloilo, Tacloban, Busuanga (Coron), Caticlan (Boracay) and Legazpi (Daraga), as well as between Cebu and Caticlan, Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Legazpi, Siargao, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban and Busuanga.
More wide-body aircraft are also being deployed by PAL on popular regional routes like Manila to Singapore, Manila to Bangkok and Manila to Tokyo Narita.
