Officials from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Japanese government formally handed over a Forensic Investigation 3D Laser Scanner to the Philippine National Police Forensic Group during a ceremony at Camp Crame on Friday, 29 November 2024.
The scanner, procured by the UNODC with Japanese support, is expected to revolutionize crime scene investigations by enabling precise 3D documentation and reconstruction.
