Foreign diplomats tour Taal Heritage Town in Batangas

Batangas culture was on full display as foreign ambassadors to the Philippines learned and experienced the history and culture of the Taal Heritage Town in Taal, Batangas, on Friday, 29 November. The diplomats visited landmarks including the Basilica of Saint Martin de Tours, the town's historical marker, and heritage houses such as Casa Villavicencio. They also observed women creating Burdang Taal embroidery, tried the infamous "balisong" knife, and sampled iconic dishes such as "pinindot" and "tapang Taal."
