Construction consultancy firm JCV & Associates Project Management and Development, Inc. (JCVA) is gearing up for a promising 2025, with a robust lineup of projects that highlight its expertise in technology integration and sustainable construction practices.

At a media round table on 28 November, CEO Engr. Jason Valderrama shared insights into JCVA’s plans as the company celebrates a decade of operations. “Our team has laid strong groundwork for 2025, with several major projects secured,” Valderrama announced. “We’re looking forward to bringing our tech-forward solutions to both local and multinational companies across various industries.”

Riding on Industry Growth

Valderrama’s optimism aligns with projections from Business Monitor International, which forecasts the Philippine construction industry to grow by 8.2% annually through 2028. JCVA’s diverse portfolio—covering residential, industrial, commercial, and healthcare projects nationwide—positions the firm to tap into this growth.

Tech-Driven Construction Solutions

In an industry often slow to embrace digital innovation, JCVA sets itself apart by leveraging cutting-edge technology throughout its processes.

The firm uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create virtual project models, enabling seamless remote collaboration and early issue detection. For real-time site monitoring, JCVA deploys an AI-powered platform offering 360-degree documentation and uses drones for larger, multi-hectare projects.

Clients also benefit from JCVA’s proprietary cloud-based platform, Agile + Vault, which provides real-time updates on schedules, budgets, and construction progress, including daily site photos and walkthrough videos. “Through this platform, clients can monitor their projects without the need for physical site visits,” explained Valderrama.

Sustainability is another cornerstone of JCVA’s operations. The firm is currently managing eight projects that meet international green building standards.

Notable among these is its partnership with a global sports retailer, managing the construction of Philippine outlets certified by the EDGE green building standard. JCVA has completed seven branches and is working on two more.

In Laguna, JCVA serves as the sustainability consultant for a 10-hectare warehouse distribution center aiming for LEED Gold Certification. The facility includes features such as rainwater harvesting systems, energy-efficient lighting, and solar panels, cutting energy consumption by 55% and indoor water use by 50%.

Sustainability and growth at the core

Looking ahead, Valderrama identified logistics, healthcare, and tourism as key drivers for Philippine construction in the coming year.

“Logistics facilities are in high demand with the e-commerce boom, while healthcare urgently needs additional hospital beds. We’re also seeing renewed activity in tourism as domestic and international travel rebounds,” he noted.

Since its founding in 2014, JCVA has established itself as a leader in construction management, balancing innovation with sustainability. From international retail outlets to large-scale logistics hubs, the firm’s projects reflect versatility and a commitment to raising industry standards.

With its strong 2025 pipeline, JCVA is poised to continue transforming the construction landscape, blending technology and sustainability to meet the needs of a growing economy.
