CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) announced Wednesday the successful confiscation of illegal drugs worth P74,064,534.78 in Central Luzon from 1 October to 25 November, 2024.
The intensified anti-drug campaign led to 910 operations and the arrest of 1,365 individuals. PRO3 records revealed the seizure of 4,964 grams of shabu, 10,889 grams of marijuana, 26,000 grams of kush, and 89 firearms.
Regional Director PBGEN Redrico A. Maranan credited the achievement to the dedication of the police force and called for public cooperation in the fight against illegal drugs.
“This success demonstrates the unwavering dedication of our police force to maintaining peace and order in the region,” Maranan stated.
“We are intensifying our campaign against illegal drugs, in line with the directives of our Chief PNP, ensuring that every operation is conducted legally and with respect for human rights," he added.
Maranan urged citizens to collaborate with the PNP by providing information on illegal drug activities.
“We encourage our citizens to partner with the PNP by providing information on any illegal drug activities. Together, let's fight this menace for a safer and more peaceful community," he said.
He assured that PRO3 will continue its intensified operations to curb the spread of illegal drugs and safeguard the region's citizens.
