On Wednesday, 27 November 2024, Department of Transportation Undersecretary Jesus Ferdinand "Andy" Ortega, Victory Liner President Marivic Del Pilar, and HIGER Representative Allen Zhou unveiled the country’s first fully electric buses at Victory Liner’s Baler Motor Pool in Quezon City.

The two electric buses, which reduce annual CO emissions by over 100 tons compared to diesel models, are powered by a 485 kW battery, enabling 350-400 kilometers of travel per charge. They also feature a 120 kW DC charger, capable of fully charging the bus in just three hours.
