Lightning briefly stops NAIA flight operations

The Manila International Airport Authority’s Airport Ground Operations and Safety Division (MIAA-AGOSD) temporarily suspended flight and ramp operations on Saturday afternoon due to a lightning red alert.
At around 4:23 p.m., MIAA-AGOSD issued a lightning red alert. All flights and ramp operations were temporarily suspended, as posted on the MIAA official Facebook page.
