A suspect in a shooting incident that transpired in Taguig City was arrested by the police in a follow-up operation.
The report showed that Taguig City Police Station arrested alias Datu Malik, 29 years old, on 9 January at approximately 8:30 p.m. along Zamboanga Street in Barangay Maharlika, Taguig City.
Alias Datu Malik was apprehended in a follow-up operation coming after a shooting incident that transpired on Sunday at around 7:10 p.m. along Tawi-Tawi Street, Barangay Maharlika, Taguig City.
The arrest was carried out by personnel from the MCU-Substation 7.
The suspect was taken into custody, and authorities confiscated one hand grenade, leading to the filing of complaints for illegal possession of an explosive device under Republic Act 9516 and alleged murder.
