The Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region over the weekend revealed its forward-looking plans for Calendar Year 2024, focusing on enhancing public services and law enforcement.
This comes after Annabelle N. Quevedo, Chief of the Financial Management Division at LTO-NCR, reported that the agency has exceeded its impressive revenue collection of P7.82 billion from the previous year (2022), reaching approximately P8.1 billion this year (2023).
Motivated by this success, LTO-NCR Regional Director Roque "Rox" I. Verzosa III has instructed the office's management committee to engage in detailed activity planning for the upcoming year, ensuring sustained momentum in its outstanding operations.
Director Verzosa conveyed his gratitude to the dedicated LTO-NCR employees whose collective efforts contributed to this remarkable revenue achievement. In his message to his fellow public servants, he underscored the significance of being prepared for the challenges ahead in the coming year while also enjoying the holiday season.
"We appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of all LTO-NCR employees who have contributed to this outstanding revenue collection," Director Verzosa said in his message to his fellow public servants.
LTO-NCR Assistant Regional Director Hanzley H. Lim spearheaded the Activity Planning held on 20 and 21 December. Each division head is tasked with preparing Plans, Programs, Projects, and Activities for each month of 2024. The subsequent communication of these plans to the Chiefs and OICs of Field Offices and their teams ensures consistent implementation.
In addition to its regular programs, LTO-NCR will heighten its focus on the Traffic Safety Unit, led by TSU head Rocilyn T. Villaruel, which will conduct extra road safety seminars, specifically targeting senior high school students. The public can also expect enhanced services through initiatives like LTO-on-Wheels and E-Patrol, led by Elijah B. Claridad, Jan Dominique F. Oliveros, and Antonio Ariel F. Honorio, aiming to reach a wider audience within the region.
Additionally, administrative division Chief Pio Paolo E. Erta highlighted that his teams will optimize their operations to align with the office's activities and goals. Mr. Rambo M. Bautista, head of the Property Section, is entrusted with overseeing the office's supplies, inventory, and monitoring infrastructure projects. Concurrently, Ms. Minda S. Gipulan, head of the Human Resources Division, is tasked with coordinating training sessions, acknowledging deserving employees, reinforcing the organization, and, ultimately, enhancing the quality of public service.
Verzosa assured the public that the improvement of LTO-NCR's services will continue without interruption.
