Ilocos Norte enacts ‘anti-boga’ policy

LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte — The provincial government of Ilocos Norte recently greenlighted an "Anti-Boga" ordinance as it also continues to crack the whip against unlabeled assorted firecrackers.
This comes after Ilocos Norte Provincial Police Office director Col. Julius Suriben requested to the provincial council to pass a measure that will prevent the selling and manufacturing of unregulated firecrackers and to also curb firecracker-related injuries.
