A male drug suspect was nabbed in a drug buy-bust in Pasig City Wednesday evening.
The 46-year-old suspect was identified only as alias Pipit, a resident of Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.
He was collared in an operation conducted by operatives of the Pasig City Police Station's Drug Enforcement Unit along N. Cuevas Street, Barangay Kalawaan at about 10:55 p.m.
Seized from him were five pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less five grams with an estimated street value of P34,000 and the P200 buy-bust money.
The suspect, now detained at the Pasig City Police Station custodial facility, will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
