President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Friday invited the public to visit Malacañang as he will be staying in Manila with his family for Christmas.
He extended the invitation in a video posted on his Facebook page as he wished the Filipino people a happy holiday.
"Today, we have an open house. While there's Simbang Gabi (Night Mass), the Palace also holds an open house. Please come and visit us," Marcos said. "All your children, the kids, are welcome to have fun while waiting for the Night Mass. So, hopefully, we'll see each other here in the Palace for a Christmas celebration."
Asked about the First Family's plans this Yuletide season, the Presidential Communications Office said they have opted to celebrate Christmas Day in Manila.
Simbang Gabi Masses are held in front of Mabini Hall at 4:30 a.m. daily and are open to the public. There are also games and carnival rides on the Palace grounds.
