Veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez, who passed away at the age of 76, had played one of his most iconic characters to date as Lolo Sir in ABS-CBN's "2 Good 2 Be True".
His other memorable films include Seven Sundays, The Mistress, and May Minamahal.
Valdez was also the first Filipino Colonel Sanders for KFC.
In an Instagram post dated 26 November, Janno Gibbs greeted his father a 'Happy Birthday' and also disclosed that he directed a movie that starred his father and himself, and it was set to screen in theaters in January 2024.
He is survived by his wife Maria Fe, son Janno, daughter Melissa, and several grandchildren.
