The Rotary Club of Manila held a Christmas party at the Montessori School of Mithing Pangarap at Smokey Mountain, Tondo, Manila last 9 December 2023.
For well over three decade, the Mithing Pangarap Foundation has offered free Montessori preschool education to children of the community in Smokey Mountain, the former dumpsite in Tondo, Manila.
The foundation has also run livelihood programs for the community, a Kumon math program, and a tutorial service for out-of-school youth following the Department of Education's Alternative Learning System of the Department of Education.
The Christmas Party last 9 December at the Mithing Pangarap Montessori School was in partnership between RC Manila and the Mithing Pangarap Educational Foundation Inc., with support from WASH Committee, Teethcloud and the Rotaract Club of Manila.
