A joint buy-bust operation launched in Barangay Maricaban, Pasay City resulted in the arrest of three drug suspects and confiscation of 36 grams of suspected shabu worth P244,000.

The suspects were identified as alias Romel, 42 years old, painter,  ( for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165, SLI-Pusher/User), Son, 28 years old, (SLI-Pusher),   (violation of Sec. 11, under Art. 2 of RA 9165) and alias Yna, 43 years old, (SLI-Pusher), (for violation of section 11, under Art 2 of RA 9165).

Anti-drug operatives, armed with a Certificate of Coordination from the PDEA launched the operation that resulted in the confiscation of eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu worth P244,800, one P1000 genuine money on top of P34,000 boodle money.

Complaint for Violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11, Art II of RA 9165 are now being prepared against the arrested suspects while recovered pieces of evidence was turned over to Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
