Indonesian arts and culture had a field day at the recent Asian Culture Fest at the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
The embassy opened a booth decorated with Balinese nuances and provided various information on culture, tourism, Indonesian scholarship programs and prize games.
The embassy also performed Zapin Dance, with Angklung spontaneously played by the visitors.
UP Diliman Asian Culture Fest 2023 is a program held by the Linguistics Department in celebration of its 100th anniversary, an activity to introduce Asian culture to Asian Language students and the public through games, food, costumes, dances, and other activities.
The event was attended by all language classes of the linguistics department including Indonesian classes, UP student organizations and some foreign embassies in the Philippines.
