President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will provide a service recognition incentive to government employees, and gratuity pay for the contract of service and job order workers, Malacañang said on Tuesday.
Based on Administrative Order No. 12, SRI is a one-time grant in the same amount, not exceeding P20,000 per employee in the executive department.
Among those entitled to receive the incentive are civilian personnel in national government agencies, including those in state universities and colleges, and government-owned or controlled corporations, whether they're regular, contractual, or casual employees.
This also includes members of the military and police force, as well as fire and jail personnel under the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
The SRI grant extends to personnel from the Bureau of Corrections, Philippine Coast Guard, and National Mapping and Resource Information Authority, employees of Congress, the Judiciary, the Office of the Ombudsman, and Constitutional offices.
Moreover, employees in local government units, including barangays, may also receive the SRI, depending on the financial capability of the local government and subject to the limitations of their budget.
