Tarlac City, Tarlac — The Department of Health in Central Luzon celebrated Tuesday's Universal Health Coverage Day by boosting the information campaign on Universal Health Care Act.
DoH Central Luzon Center for Health Development Governance Cluster medical officer IV Dr. Nenita Sta. Ines said that the Universal Health Coverage Day — celebrated every 12 December — aims to progressively achieve UHC through a systematic approach and clear delineation of roles for stakeholders.
She also said that the primary goal is to ensure equitable access to quality and affordable health care while protecting individuals from financial risk.
