Pura, Tarlac — At least 20 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program recently took part in the skills training workshop on pickling and vegetable fermentation here.
According to DTI OIC-provincial director Florencia Balilo, the program is in line with the initiative of the Department of Trade and Industry to provide sustainable livelihood and to encourage more potential entrepreneurs to venture in the business field.
She added that the training seeks to enhance not only the skills of the beneficiaries from the town of Pura, but also the overall quality and marketability of their products.
