BACOLOD CITY — Authorities reported that anti-illegal drug enforcement teams nabbed at least 10 individuals who yielded P1.046 million worth of suspected shabu in three buy-bust operations here in the past two days.
Reports of the Bacolod City Police Office on Friday showed that on Thursday, six individuals were apprehended in Purok Kaingin, Barangay
Singcang-Airport by operatives of the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit-Western Visayas.
The suspect — identified as Aeron Grace Andal
— was collared after she sold a sachet of shabu worth P13,000 to an undercover police officer. Also arrested were Andal's companions, identified as Stephanie Espinosa, Maria Aliguin, Samuel Gallardo, Audie Medel and Freddie Denisa.
According to the police report, operatives recovered from the suspects 75 grams of shabu worth P510,000 along with various drug paraphernalia.
In an interview, Andal, who is detained at the Police Station 8 with the other suspects, denied owning the illegal drugs recovered by the police, while Denisa said he has never been involved in the illegal drug trade.
Meantime, operatives of Police Station 5 also arrested Arnold Pangaral in Hacienda Teresita, Barangay Granada after he sold P500 in shabu to a police poseur-buyer.
The suspect yielded seven grams of the same prohibited substance valued at P47,000.
