DITO touts B2B under new unit

Recognizing the need for tighter competition to boost services to customers, DITO Telecommunity Corp. has ventured into the business-to-business segment of the sector with a new unit.
DITO CEO Ernesto Alberto said during a briefing on Tuesday that DITO Business will focus on underserved micro, small and medium enterprise, or MSME, sector.
Alberto said the growth of the company's new business will bank on the nearly one million active and operating enterprises, which will be mobilized to ensure that small businesses will be supported through its innovative products.
Alberto said from 1 million subscribers in June 2021, "DITO now enjoys the support of more than 9 million SIM-registered subscribers."
