The united approach taken by the police and other concerned government agencies resulted in the arrest of alleged human traffickers and the rescue of victims.
Reports reaching the Southern Police District showed the operation was jointly launched by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation in collaboration with the
Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, District Mobile Force Battalion — Southern Police District and Parañaque City Police Station.
This resulted in the successful apprehension of two individuals, identified as Han and Sun, for their alleged involvement in human trafficking.
The arrest took place at approximately 9 p.m. of 7 November, at the 7th Floor of Sinocan Building, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.
Law enforcement agencies, acting on credible information, visited the building where they discovered a prostitution den on the 7th floor leading to the immediate arrest of the suspects.
The operation resulted in the rescue of 16 employees alleged to be victims of human trafficking.
The arrested suspects will be facing complaints related to human trafficking, and further investigation is underway to identify all individuals involved in the criminal operation.
