DAVAO CITY — In line with the observance of the 31st National Children's Month, the local government here through the Special Office for Children's Concerns is set to conduct a city-wide Children's Congress on 24 to 25 November 2023.

SOCC head Consorcia Ronquillo disclosed that 182 child representatives from the 182 barangays as well as members from the local government unit and other stakeholders will convene to discuss issues faced by children as well as the actions done by designated offices to address the problems raised.

She added that there are various activities for children and their families under the survival, protection, development and participation rights program.

"We invite the children through an announcement made by their respective Barangay Council for Protection of Children asking them to bring at least 10 sectoral child representatives in Rizal Park for the Serbisyo Caravan," Ronquillo said.

"We invited various local government agencies and civil society organizations to the caravan to offer their services. We also invited children from different barangays to join the caravan," she added.
