The Philippine Army on Saturday accorded arrival honors to 21 newly promoted generals who recently affirmed their oath of office at the Headquarters Philippine Army in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The Army's Security and Escort Battalion of the Installation Management Command rendered the ceremonial arrival honors to the generals in recognition of their "unparalleled dedication and leadership" in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in the military organization.
Army Commanding General LtGen. Roy Galido urged the generals to utilize their newly acquired ranks to better serve the public as military officers.
"I want you to use your ranks to give more blessings to those in need. Now, we have to emphasize that rank must be a responsibility of providing more to those in need, to those who need more attention, and to the majority of the members of our organization," said Galido.
