The Department of Migrant Workers confirmed on Saturday that about 62 Filipinos, including 2 infants will arrive in the country on Monday.

In a forum held in Dapo Restaurant, Quezon City, DMW Officer-in-Charge Hans Leo Cacdac said that the fourth batch of repatriates consists of caregivers and hotel workers.

"For this fourth batch, there will be more hotel workers. Around 32 hotel workers and 28 caregivers are coming home. 60 OFWs, plus two infants," Cacdac said.

Cacdac added that the DMW would continue its partnership with Overseas Welfare Workers Administration, and the Department of Foreign Affairs to assist the repatriates.

DMW stressed that they are closely monitoring rescue zones in Israel where evacuated OFWs were brought. The OIC added that an augmentation team would be sent to the Middle Eastern state on 2 Nov to boost the current personnel on the ground.

"In the Southern part closest to the Gaza border, that is the declared 'no go zone' by the Israeli defense forces, and the Filipinos in that zone were evacuated to safer ground. So that's where our labor attache and Welfare officer go, the rescue areas," Cacdac said.
