Malacañang on Thursday denied that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. had declared 3 November a holiday.
"Fake news," said Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin of the now-deleted social media post that circulated online.
Bersamin earlier debunked another report on Wednesday night that claimed government work and classes in public schools would be suspended on 31 October from 12 noon onwards.
Monday, 30 October, had been declared a non-working holiday due to the holding of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.
All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day on 1 and 2 November, respectively, have been declared non-working holidays as well.
