AC Motors, Bosch Auto forge deals

AC Motors, under the umbrella of the Ayala group, and Bosch Philippines have officially declared the initiation of a remarkable new venture of Bosch Car Service in the Philippines.

This significant announcement underpins the advent of a long-term strategic alliance that not only signifies a milestone for AC Motors and Bosch but also potentially redefines the automotive service landscape in the country.

Bosch, recognized worldwide, holds a reputable stance as a prolific supplier of technology and services, making this partnership a noteworthy event in the nation's automotive sector.

Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, the chief executive officer of AC Motors, expressed his outlook on this alliance stating: "We have long seen the automotive aftermarket segment as a key touchpoint in the customer life cycle."

"Ayala and Bosch have a long history of collaboration, and it is also through Bosch we have found the ideal partner to bring casa-level service and affordable but high-quality parts to Filipino motorists."

On the other side, Marcio Coelho, the vice president of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket ASEAN, conveyed his enthusiasm about this venture with the Ayala group.

He emphasized: "We are proud to embark on the journey alongside our strong partner the Ayala Group, to reshape the car service scene today in the Philippines by incorporating integrated vehicle technologies and expand our global network of independent workshops, today already at 12,000 BCS across 150 countries."

Paulo Duarte, the managing director of Bosch Philippines, highlighted the core objective of this alliance, expressing that:  "Together with AC Motors, we stand as a formidable proponent not just in prolonging a vehicle's life, but in taking action to promote road safety by making effective, smart, and convenient maintenance easily accessible to everyone."
