The Armed Forces of the Philippines announced on Wednesday that seven of its high-ranking officials will assume new posts as approved by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., noting that the movements demonstrate dynamic careers in the military organization.
AFP Public Affairs chief Lt.Col. Enrico Gil Ileto said these officers duly screened by the Armed Forces of the Philippines Board of Generals following the "principles of merit, fitness, character and honor" of the military.
Lt. Gen. William Gonzales will leave his post as the Inspector General of the AFP as he will serve as the new commander of the Western Mindanao Command, while MGen. Steve Crespillo will take over the position of Inspector General.
