In light of the upcoming transport strike that is taking place on Monday, 16 October 2023, in Metro Manila and other parts of the country, Philippine Airlines (PAL) advised travelers to use other modes of transportation when traveling to the airport.
PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna stated that in accordance with standard operating protocols, travelers are recommended to be at their designated airport terminal at least three hours before their planned international flight departure and at least two hours before their scheduled domestic flight departure.
This is to allow adequate time for security checks and immigration (for international travel).
