Filipino fans are in for a treat as Irish singer Niall Horan, one-fifth of the now-defunct phenomenal boy band One Direction, makes his grand return to the Philippines after almost six years.
Horan is set to return to Manila as a solo act on 13 May 2024 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
On 12 October, Horan himself announced on Instagram that he will bring his The Show concert tour to Asia next year, including the Philippines.
"I'm bringing The Show Live On Tour over to Asia next year! The Tokyo date is on sale now and tickets for Singapore, Jakarta, and Manila go on sale 18 Oct. Sign up for my newsletter at niallhoran.com for access to Monday's presale," Horan wrote on his Instagram post.
According to Live Nation Philippines, the Fanclub presale will be on Monday, 16 October. Meanwhile, the LNPH pre-sale and general on-sale of tickets are set for 17 and 18 October, respectively.
Horan rose to worldwide fame when he became a member of One Direction alongside Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Harry Styles in 2010. The group released back-to-back hits like 'What Makes You Beautiful," "One Thing," "Best Song Ever," "You and I" and more.
When the group took an indefinite hiatus in 2015, the members embarked on solo careers. In 2017, Horan debuted his folk-pop country album Flicker, with the singles 'This Town' and 'Slow Hands' topping the charts.
Following the success of Flicker, Horan released his second album Heartbreak Weather in 2020.
The Irish singer continues to thrive this year. Apart from releasing his third album 'The Show,' he is currently serving as a coach on The Voice in the US with John Legend, Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire.
