Two drug suspects were nabbed, while a female teen was rescued during a drug sting operation in Marikina City Tuesday evening.
The suspects were identified as alias Niño, 49 years old; alias Lala, 38 years old; and alias Tabeng, the rescued minor.
The suspects were arrested in an operation conducted by operatives of the Marikina City Police Station's drug enforcement unit at Barangay Tumana at about 5:30 p.m.
Seized in the operation were five sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 28 grams with an estimated street value of P190,400.
Alias Niño and alias Lala were turned over to the Marikina City Police Station custodial facility for proper disposition, while alias Tabeng was put into custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the two individuals depending on the findings of the proper authority.
