Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday called on the United States to "manage existing differences more rationally".

In remarks welcoming Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to Beijing, Wang said he hoped the visit "will help the United States to more accurately understand China, view China-US relations more objectively, and also manage existing differences more rationally, helping the relationship between the two countries return to the track of healthy development".
