Filipino-American gymnast Aleah Finnegan becomes the third Filipino athlete to punch her ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics after an impressive showing in the women's individual all-around of the 52nd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships at the Sportpaleis Antwerpen in Antwerp, Belgium Tuesday morning (Manila time).
Finnegan, 20, finished at 32nd with a total of 51.366 points but it was enough for her to punch a ticket to the Summer Games as she is one of the best 14 participants who haven't qualified prior to this tournament.
She joins fellow gymnast and two-time world champion Carlos Yulo and pole vaulter EJ Obiena in the group who made it to the Paris Games.
