Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. is set to expand its footprint with a new dealership in collaboration with Gateway Motors in Cebu, specifically in the city of Talisay.
The ceremony, marking the initial phase of the upcoming dealership, took place last 11 August. Among the prominent figures present were HMPH president, Dong Wook Lee, and managing director Cecil Capacete.
Gateway Group also sent its notable representation including executive vice president Michael Goho; corporate secretary Estrella Goho; and Hyundai brand head, Glenn Teves.
Cebu stands as a pivotal location in the Visayas region, acting as the central axis for commerce, education, tourism and transportation.
Within this vast metropolitan expanse, Talisay carves its niche as a residential and trading hub. This positions the forthcoming Hyundai dealership advantageously, ensuring it remains accessible and strategically placed for the influx of potential consumers.
Mr. Dong Wook Lee, in his address, articulated HMPH's vision for this enterprise. He remarked: "We are earnest in our drive to cater to both our loyal and prospective customers in this rapidly burgeoning region.
"Our synergy with the Gateway Group, stemming from our shared fervor for mobility and the larger community, augments this vision. The residents of Cebu can anticipate an expedited access to our groundbreaking vehicles."
Prospective clients and Hyundai enthusiasts can look forward to the grand unveiling of Hyundai Cebu-Talisay by the fourth quarter of 2024.
