Commercial vehicle specialist Foton Motor Philippines has just added greater value to its dependable workhorse, the Thunder pickup.
Foton, the first Chinese car brand to enter the Top 10 automotive companies in the country in terms of sales, announced recently its new six-figure lower prices for the whole Thunder lineup.
For the first time among currently available four-door midsize pickups of all brands, pricing for the likewise midsize Thunder pickup now starts under P1 million, with a retail price of P980,000 for the Thunder 4×2 EL M/T.
Thunder 4×2 A/T can be had for P1.08 million; Thunder 4×2 EL A/T (new variant) P1.05 million; Thunder 4×2 A/T P1,150,000; Thunder 4×2 A/T SPORTS (new variant) P1,200,000; and Thunder 4×4 M/T P1,198,000.
"With the new price positioning, we are looking forward to see more customers considering and availing of the new Thunder pickup as their 'modern-day workhorse,'" said Foton Motor Philippines General manager Levy Santos.
The all-new and bigger Thunder pickup boasts a bolder and more rugged design whose compelling front end is quite evocative of the flagship pickup truck of its competitors.
Foton GTL truck new variants will also have price cuts. The new variants and SRPs are GTL 4X2 Tractor Head P2,600,000; GTL 6×4 Tractor Head P3,100,000; GTL 6X4 Dump Truck P3,000,000.
